Speedskater, Elise Christie won World Championship silver and bronze medals, Chris and Gabby Adcock reached the semi-finals of the All-England Badminton finals and Jodie Stimpson won her second world cup triathlon of the season. Great results for all!

Speed skating: Elise Christie wins 1,000m World Championships silver

European champion Elise Christie claimed a 1,000m silver medal to add to her 1500m bronze at the Short-Track Speed Skating World Championships. The Nottingham-based Scot executed her tactics brilliantly to stay in the top two throughout the race. Full story via the BBC

Badminton All England Championships: Adcocks first semi-finalists since 2008.

Britons Chris and Gabby Adcock lost to Danish pair Joachim Fischer Nielsen and Christinna Pedersen in the semi-finals of the All England Championships. The husband-and-wife duo, Britain’s first semi-finalists since 2008, were beaten 21-13 22-20 in Birmingham. Full story via the BBC

New-look Ireland overcome Italy: Lindsay Peat and Paula Fitzpatrick both touched down as the Ireland’s women overcame ever-improving Italy 14-3 to record their second win at Donnybrook in this year’s Women’s Six Nations. Full story via Scrumqueens

French power sees off Scotland:

Jodie Stimpson wins Triathlon World Cup event in Australia: Britain’s Jodie Stimpson claimed her second victory in two weekends after winning over the shorter sprint distance at the Triathlon World Cup in Australia. Full story via the BBC

Football: England finish third at SheBelieves Cup after France draw

England Women drew 0-0 with France in Boca Raton to finish third in the inaugural SheBelieves Cup. Previously in the tournament they had narrow defeats to World Cup-winners USA and European champions Germany. Full story via The FA
