Tried and tested: Finisterre Aeris jacket

June 3, 2015

If like me you love being outside, but hate being cold, then this summer-weight insulated jacket by Finisterre is for you. What a stroke of genius to recognise that even on warm days we sometimes need an extra bit of warmth – especially after a surf, training session or bike ride. Perfect!

Not only does this jacket look and feel great but it has excellent eco credentials too – the fabric is a 100% recycled and recyclable ripstop and the PrimaLoft® Silver Eco insulation fill uses 70% post-consumer recycled content.

Good points

– Perfect lightweight summer jacket for a multitude of activities
– Reversible so you have different colour options depending on your mood/outfit
– Comfortable and water resistant
– Great Eco credentials
– Makes a good pillow too

Bad points

– Minor thing, but I would like hand warmer pockets on both sides but that’s probably not possible due to the construction
